School Council

At Colden, we regard pupil voice very highly. One of the ways pupils can express their ideas is via the School Council.

The School Council meet once every half term to share and discuss views.

Each class across the age ranges, starting from Reception through to Year 6, have two main representatives that have been elected by their peers.

What do the children think about School Council?

  • School Councillors should represent everyone in school and bring forward ideas from their peers in class.
  • School Councillors should be an outstanding role model to others in school.
  • The School Council think it is important to raise money for school and other school supported charities.
  • Meetings should be fun and enjoyable for everyone when discussing important things.
